These are the Balkans – ESC 2010 – SERBIA
Tonight it was the turn of Serbia to choose its entry for Oslo with a new and interesting format. After a show with three acts handpicked by the legendary composer Goran Bregović, Milan Stanković won with the song Ovo je Balkan (These are the Balkans).
Serbian broadcaster RTS decided this year to change the format of how they choose their entry, replacing the traditional and very popular show, Beovizija. The reasoning behind this was what RTS described as the financial constraints involved in hosting such a large-scale event. Nevertheless, Serbia were determined to soldier on with finding a quality act to represent them at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Oslo in May.
Heute abend war die Reihe von Serbien zu seinem Eintritt in Oslo mit einem neuen und interessanten Format wählen. Nach einer Show mit drei Akten von den legendären Komponist Goran Bregovic handverlesen, gewann Milan Stanković mit dem Lied Ovo je Balkan (Diese sind auf dem Balkan).
Serbischen Fernsehsender RTS dieses Jahr beschlossen, das Format wählen, wie sie ihren Eintrag ändern, anstelle der traditionellen und sehr beliebten Show, Beovizija. Die Gründe hierfür war, was RTS, da die finanziellen Zwänge im Hosting eine solche Großveranstaltung beteiligt beschrieben. Dennoch waren Serbien Soldat mit der Suche nach einer Qualität zu handeln entschlossen, sie bei der 2010 beim Eurovision Song Contest zu vertreten in Oslo im Mai stattfinden.
